Podle fotografa nový iPhone fotí „velmi dobře v různých světelných podmínkách“. Není zřejmé, jaká nastavení byla použita u jednotlivých snímků. iPhone 7 obsahuje 12megapixelový fotoaparát, verze Plus má navíc dvojitý objektiv, který umožňuje optický zoom.
